I recently acquired a new Sony a3000 interchangeable-lens mirrorless camera. It's basically a DSLR only instead of an optical viewfinder, you see exactly what the image sensor sees. It uses the Sony E-mount for using different lenses, and has a large sensor for maximum exposure. At a fraction of the cost of a DSLR.
Eventually I'll upgrade to a DSLR, perhaps a Canon Rebel T3 or T5. But for now, I'm quite satisfied with this new toy! Here are some photos.
